Ami Guilliams (1973-2017)
Husband: Greg Guilliams; Head Coach Valdosta State University Blazers’ Baseball
Children: Elijah (14) & Isaac (11).
Both of Ami’s sons are wonderful boys. Isaac, who is the sweetest little guy one will ever encounter, suffers from a severe brain condition, and exhibits developmental issues. Ami advocated endlessly for Isaac with her never ending drive. Isaac and Elijah both share their parents’ love for the game of baseball.
Ami died on April 27, 2017 at age 43, after a 3 year battle with cancer. As Valdosta’s #1 Baseball Mom, an energetic, positive, and unique individual, her loss has affected many in the baseball community. Of course, the biggest impact of her loss is that suffered by her husband and sons.
